ARA Speed Factors
In order to be run in the safest and most competitive environment possible, stage rally competitors start an event in order from fastest to slowest. The ARA Speed Factor is used to determine this order in a non-biased way. Calculated based on past stage performance, the Speed Factor is a single number used to describe, on average, how fast a competitor will be at an average ARA event.
