O.D.D. Racing Reveals 2019 Plans

Greeley, Colorado (January 9, 2019)

In an announcement live streamed on several platforms earlier this week, Preston Osborn of O.D.D. Racing announced the team's plans for the 2019 rally season – a full push for the ARA Limited 4wd class championship.

During the 15 minute announcement on Monday, Osborn spoke on his and driver Cameron Steely's past competition success while unveiling the team's 2019 events one at a time. He also detailed some of his future hopes for the coming rally season. O.D.D. Racing, already on the entry list for this month's Sno*Drift Rally, will compete at every stop of the 2019 ARA National Rally Championship along with several other rallies.

The team will crisscross the continent to challenge at least ten ARA events; all nine of the national championship and the super regional Southern Ohio Forest Rally in May. Osborn will co-drive at all rallies this season, but Steely will sit out June's Oregon Trail Rally due to a conflict with a European motorcycle event. In Steely's seat for OTR will be a currently unannounced guest driver.

In a packed season, O.D.D. Racing will also make a swing through Canada; a move that will make them eligible for the North American Rally Cup, a cooperative competition between ARA and the Canadian Rally Championship.

“This is an exciting time for ODD Racing,” said Osborn. “A bad-ass new car, new season, and lofty goals are going to push the team to new heights. Having our friends, fans, and favorite events make all the travel worth it!”

Osborn also unveiled updated plans for the team's in development Focus RS rally car. Work on the car began in late 2017, when several vehicle class targets were considered. Now we know the Focus RS is being built for the Limited 4wd class and will likely run its first competition miles at July's New England Forest Rally. Until the new car is introduced, the O.D.D. Racing team will compete in their venerable Subaru STI.
